8) Interpreting Results Of Student Work/Assessments

When looking at data from summative assessments, interpreting the results of each individual student as well as each question is very important when ending a unit. During our Reconstruction Era unit, we used multiple summative assessments with written responses and multiple choice questions. My mentor teacher and I, then take this data and differentiate what we felt students did well on, and lessons or topics that we should re teach in the 2nd half of our Reconstruction Unit. This data shows us which lessons went better than others, in which case we can figure out what instructional strategies were used and re evaluate future lessons with this data.
