3) Checking Student Understanding

When thinking of understanding checks, there are different ways to do it like a unit quiz or maybe a graded assignment, but the last thing I want to do after a long lesson is make students complete a graded assignment that measures student understanding. So taking their thoughts or a quiz summary of what they learned at the end of the class shows me as an educator what I need to change in order for my students to have a better understanding of the main concepts and what I need to hit again or reiterate it.
